Cura Bella Hair Salon on the Lookout
Tucked into a row of quaint storefront shops in the heart of historic Mt. Lookout Square sits Cincinnati's own Cura Bella Hair Salon. Partners Jim Alford and Mary Beth Mitchell had always loved the location. (Was it mere coincidence that they met at this exact location when both were hair stylists at Richard's two floors above?) Destiny struck when the storefront location became available; in a moment of pure serendipity, they knew it was meant to be!
Taking cues from the historic feel of the location, they agreed that their new Cincinnati salon would have the old-world charm and character that they both loved. Jim, an accomplished woodworker and boat builder worked his artisan handwork throughout the interior. Hand-carved wooden doors and graceful arches reflect Jim's meticulous touch. As soon as you step inside the front door, the Cura Bella signature motif with its delicate flourishes and filigree wrought iron detailing delights the eye and welcomes you in.
Espresso-stained wood and hand-stenciled walls evoke the time honored authenticity of European therapeutic spas where the curative waters promised rejuvenation for body and soul. Cura Bella is not just any Cincinnati hair and nail salon, it is a serene respite from the busy, over-scheduled world outside.
Open Monday through Saturday; Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred.
