Elana, Stylist

Elana is one of Cura Bella's most established stylists as well as a longtime friend and colleague of owner Mary Beth.  Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Elana delights her clients with her professionalism and precision as well as her charming accent and (surprisingly!) wicked sense of humor. “People don’t know when I am just kidding…sometimes I cannot find the word I need, but humor and laughter transcend language.”  Known for her extraordinary expertise in creating natural-looking color and her legendary attention to detail, Elana is one of Cura Bella's busiest stylists.  A mother of two boys, she is creative and high energy in all aspects of her life. Elana loves to cook, entertain and spend time with her family.

Monica, Stylist

Monica is has a knack for managing whatever is thrown her way without losing her playful sense of spontaneity.  First and most importantly, she is a proud new mom to beautiful daughter Corinne.  Besides being a multi-tasking marvel, Monica is a creative free spirit whose artistic pursuits including decorating and gardening.  “I’d have a pretty nice garden myself if we didn’t live downtown”.  She is a major foodie, loves to cook and bake, and an adventurous traveler with an ever growing “bucket list” of places to see!  Monica has been doing hair for seven years and received her certification from The Aveda Institute Cincinnati.  A fun-loving people person, Monica thrives on sunshine, loves all animals and delights in sharing family time with husband Troy, Corinne and Lady, their King Charles Spaniel.

Fayme, Stylist

Fayme is a low-key (but shameless) style diva with a love for all things visual.  Her lifelong passion for fashion, and discerning eye for design trends makes Fayme our go-to lady for news and views on what’s happening.  She adores travel and is a devout beach lover.  After graduating from Indiana University in 2004 with a degree in Fashion and Business, she continued on to attend the Aveda Fredric’s Institute of Indianapolis and graduated in 2006.  What’s her favorite thing?  Just hanging out with the people she loves. “I am a pure people-person with a creative spirit so doing hair is a natural expression of my personality and a perfect way to blend all the things I love.”  A passionate participant in life, Fayme is deeply committed to all that she loves—her family, her friends and her career.

Shannon’s mega-watt smile and gorgeous cascade of blonde hair lend a super-model-esque presence to this decidedly down-to-earth family “girl” who never misses a single birthday party for one of her niece’s or nephew’s. Outgoing and adventurous, Shannon is a spontaneous and fearless traveler who loves the thrill of last minute trips. Those who know her are never surprised when she calls and says “I’ll be back on Monday…see you then!”  Shannon has been happily doing hair for 13 years and worked at Identity Salon before coming to Cura Bella. When she’s not in the salon, Shannon enjoys working out, traveling and hanging out with family and friends. 

Alicia, Stylist

Alicia’s diminutive stature and big blue eyes evoke a childlike innocence that belies her considerable expertise and 11 years experience doing hair.  Animated and personable, Alicia’s ever present smile and sunny outlook reveal her people-loving extrovert’s spirit.  “I like being with people and really enjoy the daily interaction that comes with doing hair. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t learn something completely new from one of my clients.  I just love that”!  Alicia is a graduate of the Butler Tech Cosmo program and has also trained professionally in Chicago and Miami. Savvy and curious, Alicia weaves her trend-spotting fashion-seeking sensibility into work and play where they overlap seamlessly with her serious social conscience and commitment to serving others in the community.
